Question

MY MIC. JACK BROKE IN THE SOCKET ON MY LAPTOP HELP!!!

my mic. broke today while i was moving around on my bed it fell about 2 ft. but it fell on the jack and it snapped the tip off right in side the socket this has happened with my ipod with my head phones but it was sticking out just enough so i can get my teeth on it and yank it out but this one seems to be all the way in i tried just to put the other end in and hope it worked but it didnt some one plz help me or i will have to tell my mom and get it taken to geek squad and if they wont fix it she will kill me because this is my second laptop that broke so please help me

Good technicians know how to replace the jack. But there are few good techs out there so let's hope they can finagle it out.
