My dell studio 1440 14z can't turn on .I need help from her

My dell studio 1440 14z can't turn on. It is my daughter's laptop and now she sent it to me.
I tested power supply, power adapter card and power bottom. I think all of them are ok except power bottom ,because I don't know how to test to power bottom . Yesterday I received a motherboard which I ordered from eBay.I put the board on my laptop but got some result! Now I have no idea what is next I can do and hope get some advices from here. Thanks!

A power button is easy to test.

It's a switch and an Ohm meter across the 2 pins will show it open and close. Pretty basic stuff so I'll stop here.

The switch contacts on the PCB. D3 looks to be an LED.
