My Cursor Wont stop Moving

by Krazy14h / December 15, 2008 11:15 AM PST

specifically, it wont stop moving to the left.

I THINK it's a virus:

1. I unplugged my mouse COMPLETELY and it kept moving.
2. it seems to move whenever my processor works harder (ex: Games, Typing, etc.)

I'm using XP 32bit SP3 (up to date and all)
AVG 8 Free and Spybot S&D

anything i should maybe use to scan my Computer?

or, has somebody had this problem and its some stupid option that got messed with and can be fixed in a couple of [obvioulsly hard to do] clicks?

Just A Thought..

Open the Control Panel, double click on the "Mouse" icon, then the "Pointer Options" tab. UNCHECK the box next to "Enhance Pointer Precision". Click on Apply, then OK.

And if you'd like to scan your computer, try the link below for an online scan:

F-Secure Online Scanner

Hope this helps.
