by zwoman / March 3, 2013 11:06 PM PST

i have a toshiba satellite s855. 3 days ago i lost msn; i have a toolbar at the top screen but all i get is a blank screen, no msn. tried typing it into the allowed sites to no avail and did a system restore. norton does not find any viruses so not sure what's going on here. any thoughts on how to restore it? (it's my home page and is still listed as such).
thanks

- So you type www.msn.com in the address bar of browser? What happens?
- Now go into the command prompt and type ping www.msn.com (+ enter). What server and IP-address does it ping to?
- Then find a friend with a laptop and let him try same using your connection with Internet. Anything different?
