Do such things on a copy and not your main file. Such changes are usually done with painstaking exchanges, scripts and tools like WORDPIPE. I find most writers are not programmers and we know Word is a poor man's typesetter (if you write books you learn to use typesetting apps.)
I have a 300+ book already formatted, but wish to change the indent on quotes, for which there are many, since it is a study guide on a book of the bible.
The main body is indented .5" on the first line and 0" on rest.
The quotes are indented 1" on the first line, and .5" for the rest of the paragraph.
I have decided I like the quotes much better with no first line indent, so began changing them to 1" for both the first line and the rest of the quote.
My question, is there any way MS Word can do this automatically for quotes only, now that the book is complete?
