Misplaced Corel Paint Shop Pro CD

Misplaced Corel Paint Shop Pro CD:

In early February I bought/installed/registered a copy of Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 Ultimate ? and it?s been working fine ever since.

Alas #1, my Vista Business operating system is acting up and may need to be reinstalled, which = total backup plus reinstallation of all software.

Alas #2 ? I misplaced the Paint Shop program CD and would like to obtain a replacement -- short of buying a entire new software package. What are my options here please?

Thanks.

There are no other options. Sorry.

Many people think that copying the Program File folders and files would enable a re-install of software, but that doesn't work.

You may be able to find a 2nd hand version on somewhere like eBay, but that has its own difficulties, (pirated versions, etc).

Perhaps a call to Corel and they may replace the missing CD for a small fee?

Other than that, what about the issues with Vista. Anyway they can be fixed other than a reinstall?

Our Vista forum experts may be able to help there;

Mark,

Finally had to call Corel and had to pay $34 ($25 for CD plus $9 shipping)to get it shipped.

Pricier than I expected, but it's cheaper than a whole new software package ($61).

Glad you got it sorted.

And I'm sorry you had to pay again.

I've done it myself, brought expensive software, installed it, then promptly threw the disk set into the pile only to lose them later.

I don't do that any more.

Mark
