Question

Mirror FTP server?

by agamemnon71 / March 15, 2013 11:15 PM PDT

Hi all!

I'm looking for a rather specialized piece of software. It need's to do the following:

* Mirror a FTP server
* Only mirror certain filetypes
* be able to only add or change files, not delete during mirror (yeah yeah I know, strictly not a mirror then)
* do it automatically
* be a windows software

Any ideas on a software that can perform it?

Thanks for the tip of SyncBack Pro. I tried it and found it doing what I needed, but it was a bit pricey for home use.

I used words from their pages and instructions and searched some more and found WinSCP instead. That did the job nicely Happy

Only to a FTP?

Indeed, but apparently it only supported mirror function to a FTP-server and not from a FTP-server which is what I needed. Otherwise it would have been a nice tool to work with.

Here I can use any old FTP server and the tool noted plus a few other sync apps to do the final setup.

But I am encountering folk that are looking for the road to utopia.
