Micro Keyboard for Ipaq h4150

by sether52 / August 26, 2004 1:45 PM PDT

Hey,

I just bought the HP micro keyboard off ebay for my ipaq 4150. Only problem is, it didn't come with a manual or anything. I plugged it into the bottom, but it seems not to be recognizing it. Does anyone know what I should do to get it to recognize? Thanks,

Seth

Some of these units require a driver or software to make such work. If not, the unit is busted...

Why is there no driver or manuals on hpshopping.com? Can anyone find such driver for this accessory?

I didn't look for the driver. But you might try HP.com rather than shopping. If you want the forum to look for you, supply all the part numbers on the devices.

The Ipaq is the h4150 and the micro keyboard is part number FA162A. Thanks people!

I have both the micro keyboard and the foldable keyboard. They both require that the driver be installed for it on the handlheld (and usually rebooted) before they will recognize. The driver should be available from the HP website.
