It would be nice to know a little more about that computer... Which operating system? 32 bit? 64 bit? Do other browsers like Firefox have the same issue?
In the meantime, make sure that you have all other firewalls uninstalled and the Windows firewall turned off in the Control Panel.
In addition, add Internet Explorer 7 to those programs which are allowed full access to the internet.
Also, recognize that there are newer versions of your product that need to be installed using their online site. Assuming you've purchased the standard retail version, the updated version.. See the links below:

Hi All, got a bit of a strange issue here, I have installed McAfee 10in1 program on a 2nd laptop, (you can install it on 3 pc's) and everytime the user opens up IE7 the McAfee Firewall keeps shutting off, the user has exactly the same set up as me and mine works fine. The firewall stays on fine until she opens the internet, switching the firewall back on through the security center makes no difference, below is the error log

Just wonder if anyone has seen this before? I have not re-installed McAfee as I want to find out why this is happening before jsut going for re-install.
