Since malware is so widespread and a factor you bring up a good point. How to help those that need the scans done?
Be aware that there may be other factors such as the user installed more than one security suite but that begs another question. Is it time to change the security suites to pop up full screen and tell the user in no uncertain terms that's not supported?
I'm running McAfee Security on a WIN 8 DELL desktop and the McAfee firewall keeps shutting down intermittently.
Would anyone have an answer to what may be causing this to happen?
I could not seem to find a definitive solution on their web site other than blaming everything but their software program. Most suggestions were that user should go through many hoops to troubleshoot malware issues.
