Are you saying you thought Obama was previously proficient?

doing nothing...

but you complain that Obama is doing something (which you don't agree with) to a "lameduck"

doing something, BUT it's a lameduck...

That doesn't work for me.

of course

Lame duck sessions do not usually occur in countries under a parliamentary form of government, whether the Westminster system or other models. Under a parliamentary system there are usually no fixed dates for elections or the beginning of terms, so that a new session of parliament will always begin with its first meeting after an election has been held.

Notwithstanding concerns raised about the Law of the Sea Treaty - and there have been many - the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee recommended U.S. accession to the treaty in a unanimous vote in March 2004.

WASHINGTON, DC, March 24, 2004 (ENS) - President George W. Bush and his administration are in support of Senate ratification for the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, a top State Department official told a Congressional hearing on Tuesday.

And it never got ratified because

so many others in Congress were against it then.....now, many fear BO will have it ratified during the lameduck session along with other treaties that are harmful to the US because it enforces/helps the Agenda 21 ideals.

You gave Clinton an atta' boy for taking a nudge from Republicans and "doing the right thing"....Now Obama wants to do what Bush wanted to do....

but IF that happens, the best we can hope for is that both Houses are controlled by Republicans since he can't ratify the treaties with an Executive Order.
