Magic tune won't work on XP

by GordoFreeman / June 17, 2009 6:27 AM PDT

I bought a 226BW recently that came with no software.
When I click the menu on the front screen to adjust the brighntess it just says NOT AVAILABLE.
So, I downloaded Magic Tune Prmeium, which says it is not supported on my system. To add further to the pain, Magic Tune didn't come with an uninstaller so now it starts every time I start Windows.
ANy ideas on what to do?

GordoFreeman,

What cable are you using to connect the monitor?

GordoFreeman,

I appreciate you trying.

I'm going to escalate this to one of our monitor specialists and see if he can assist. It will be on my list of things to do on Monday, so hopefully we'll get to the bottom of this.

I apologize for the delay, and appreicate your patience.

I have a 225BW and a P2350 on separate computers. Both are XP SP3 and I get the same issue where is said it is not supported. I installed the latest drivers right off from the website. I have even submitted the form from the magictune website to request help but I have yet to receive a response. If there is a solution I would appreciate if you could share it.

Magic Tune in Digitial
by zinone / May 5, 2010 2:02 AM PDT

I purchased B2440X Samsung monitor and installed teh current version of Magic Tune on two separate machines, XP and Win7. It will not work on Win 7 machine. I downloaded current version and un installed old that was shipped with monitor. STill will not work. Same result on XP SP3 when connected to the digital connector. However, it will work on XP SP3 machine when attached to analog connector. Has anyone been able to get software to work on digital connection?

did everything incl. uninstalling the older version from CD. Online-version does not work in winxp.
Also had troubles with driver-installation. Worked only after i had installed that Switch....als online-driver did not work. But now ok, except magic-tune.
