mac to mac migration

Can I use mac to mac migration to transfer an application (Filemaker Pro 12) from one macbook to another? Will it be fully functional?

You only know if you try it. As a legitimate owner of the app, you shouldn't worry about if it works or not.

if it is yours, then you have the CD and the serial numbers.

By Mac to Mac migration, do you mean drag and drop or something different.

Filemaker lives in one folder, Prefs in the Preferences folder.

Either way you go, you will probably have to enter the serial number again, but would be no problem for you.

By far the best solution is a clean install of FMP12 and then just drag and drop your FMP files to the other machine
