Are laptop finders. I recently added a link for the Best Sellers at a major vendor. Try those too.
As to the HDD question I took the Mulligan and replaced my current laptop (and others around the office) with Hybrid drives to avoid the debate but gain some speed.
I've had a Samsung notebook for almost 3 years and I've been extremely happy with it, but it's getting towards the end of its life and there is some obvious physical damage to it, so I'm looking for a replacement that will work as well as this one has for me.
Budget is $950, but ideally I would like to find something I'm satisfied with for $850. The 2 main brands I've been looking at are Lenovo and Samsung, but I'm open to suggestions. Brands that are totally off the table for me are Dell and Acer, I've had problems with both in the past
-Core i5 processor or better
-NVIDIA Graphics card instead of Intel
-Portability: Thin and light
Things I'm debating/need more info on:
-Hard Drive vs. Solid State Drive?
This should probably go without saying, my computer runs about as fast and smooth as I could possibly imagine a 3 year old computer can run, I'd expect a new laptop to at least outperform the slightly outdated technology I'm using now
