Question

Looking for a WIFI phone that does not require a data plan

by shawnshank / September 7, 2011 5:28 AM PDT

I have TMobile and I am looking for a phone that I can use which I can make and receive calls over wifi when I cannot get a regular cell signal. I am also looking for one with a full keyboard and a decent sized screen. I do not want one that will require a data plan.

What wifi app does that?

I'm thinking Skype but that limits you to phones that have the skype app.

What other wifi call system do you know of?

I did reboot.

I know about UMA but since it's being phased out I removed it as an option and didn't bring it up.

Why do you bring up something that is being phased out?

Let's stick to solutions that are not going away.

Oh, sure you knew, Bob. (ROTFL) And that's why your response to the OP was: "what other wifi system do you know of"? Give me a break.

Why not reply to the OP? They are not interested in what you have to say to me.
