Looking for a good video editing laptop

by dlx79 / August 14, 2010 1:54 PM PDT

I've browsed a few of the laptops on here, but want to see if can I find one with a blue ray player and that will have a good graphics card. I walked into Best Buy today and the sale associates couldn't stop telling me I needed a Mac. I just want something for a beginner to mid-level editing program (Pinnacle Studio). I'd like to eventually learn Final Cut, but I'm not ready to jump on the Apple bandwagon yet. Any recommendations?

Hi there,

You should check out the Sony Vaio EB series. You can upgrade to have a dedicated graphics card and Sony's have excellent Blu-ray players. They are also a great value (affordable with great specs)!
