Some folk are getting suckered into touch screen as drawing on the screen. The resolution of the touch screen isn't that good and you don't have a pressure sense feature like you have on Wacom tablets. So the usual result is something like finger painting.
On a recent outing to the usual stores there were models in that price range so can you list those here for members to comment on?
I am shopping for a laptop right now and I'd like it to have:
12 to 14 inch screen
6GB to 8GB Memory (4 is okay, as long as it's expandable)
and be $1300 or lower
It doesn't have to be "ultrabook light" but that'd be a plus. I know this rarely is found in anything with an optical drive.
I will mainly use it for email, web-browsing, and word processing - word and excel. I would like to be able to play games or use art applications also.
I'd appreciate suggestions on the best laptop that fits in these categories. I'm negotiable on some things for a better product.
