LN32A550 suddenly dropped a channel

by frearther / November 28, 2012 11:20 PM PST

I get my signal from an external antenna. Last week, this TV suddenly decided not to display the NBC channel in our area. This channel has always had the weakest signal in our area due to its location, but rotating the antenna has previously solved that.

Now it has suddenly decided that Channel 13 does not exist. The problem is that out other three TV sets (two flat screen HD, one CRT with HD conversion) display this channel without any problems. Could my Samsung have developed a cold?

Channel 13? Weren't those removed years ago?
by R. Proffitt Forum moderator / November 28, 2012 11:42 PM PST

Not much new is going on with over the air. I see new folk that didn't live on OTA and growing up on cable to call in when a channel drops. If you want solid channels, back to cable?
