Can someone please tell me how to place a link in this forum for example make "here" goto a certain website.

The Forum FAQs, linked to in the left navigation panel, go into full details, but the general format is:

{url=http://wwww.CNET.com}my link{/url}

Replace the curly braces with square brackets. Also, please always include the http:// or the link will just point to your own post.

Instead of clicking Submit, click Preview and test your link.
