Lg Optimus G can't connect to wifi

by Romands / June 12, 2013 2:32 AM PDT

Whenever I try to connect to wifi it just says "obtaining ip address" all the time until it eventually says "avoided poor internet connection" even though the internet connection has full bars and I'm standing right next to it. I have two wifi networks, it won't connect to either one.

It's a new phone, fresh out of the box, it wouldn't even connect to my wifi when I used the wizard booting up my phone for the first time.

It has Android 4.2.1 on it and the software version is E97510d-EUR-XX. I tried rebooting both my routers, turning the wifi on and off, restoring factory settings, updating to the latest software version and my password is correct I've checked a dozen times. It doesn't make any sense.

Thanks in advance.

Yep, it's the same phone and I live in Europe so I doubt if they don't have any replacement units here. Anyway, I'll ship it back then say it was broken on arrival.

Light bulbs you shouldn't buy

There are plenty of dimmable LED light bulbs, but make sure you don't buy the ones that flicker when you dial them down.
