LG 26LV2500 Issue

by IIDUCE / July 16, 2012 9:59 PM PDT

I have an LG 26LV2500 and I am always having to scan for channels it seems to just skip from 12-17 after turning it off a couple of times and then I have to scan again. I tried manually adding the channels but when I did that it just made the channels turn to static.

Clarification Request
Do you need a discussion about antennas and OTA?

OTA or over the air is not a sure thing. That is, one you you'll get a certain channel and the next you may not. I'm finding folk that need to discuss this, antennas and a few that can't figure it out need to get cable TV.

OTA or Over The Air is not a sure thing.

Cable TV companies are dropping clear channels in favor of their digital box for the very reason you are complaining. And that other reason. Since tuners are all over the map on performance if you are a cable company you want to drop all channels that don't require the set top box to free up bandwidth and cut out the calls from folk that can't get a channel on cable.
