Question

Laptop won't send graphics to printer

by dlrsswbl / January 6, 2013 3:53 AM PST

Hello,
Apparently, my laptop won't send graphics to my printer. I have two printers and my laptop apparently won't send graphics to either one. I have used another laptop to print graphics from both printers and the printers will print graphics. What could be going on with the laptop that it won't send graphics to printers?

OK, that seems to be the case. But why? It also happens in Works. I was able to print a "picture" from Windows Photo Gallery. I inserted the same picture in a Word and Works blank page but could not print it. Weird. I used the term "graphics" when posting this question because I was trying to print a FedEx label from the internet and could not print it. I wonder why I couldn't print it.

Works may supply Word. Here's a link about the setting.

Can you tell more about how you try to send graphics to the printer? What printer?

Now install cutepdf (free download) and see if you can print graphics to a pdf. Then see if you can print that pdf using your favorite pdf-reader. Just an experiment, although you'll find that having cutepdf installed can be useful.
