... Bob's advice here. Sroll down to reset a laptop. http://forums.cnet.com/7723-19681_102-352085/welcome-to-the-laptop-troubleshooting-forum-at-cnet/?tag=posts;msg5519564
I have a question. I have a laptop thats pretty old.. from 2009. I was using it last week and the battery died on me. I plugged it into the adapter and the charging light came on and I assumed it was charging.. I left it and the next night or two nights later I tried to turn it on and nothing happened. It won't power on. The charging light is on, I believe the charger/battery is fine (maybe, Idk anything about computers) When I press the power button, I can see the button light up as it does when the computer powers on, but then as soon as I let go of the button it turns off and nothing happens.
Just wondering if this sounds like something minor which can be fixed or if this sounds like a major problem or unsolvable problem, I have been looking into new laptops anyway, would like to salvage this one if possible (I'm broke!)
Any and alll help would be mucho appreciated!
