Tinker or tailor the pad to do better.
Hello! I'm currently using a Lenovo Ideapad Y580, but I've been experiencing some odd things with it. I have a cooling pad, but whenever I use it, the temperature actually gets higher with it than when the cooling pad is off. While gaming, I average around 70C without the cooling pad, with it peaking around 83. But with the cooling pad, the temperature averages in the high 70s, with temperatures peaking around 90-95 degrees. What's up with that? I know some people might just suggest for me not to use the cooling pad, but I'd like to keep my laptop's temperature as low as possible, and I've heard that I should be able to keep the max temp below 80 with a good cooling pad.
