Java not working

I am wondering if <a href="http://www.javlicious.com">jav</a>a is not supported in windows 7?

I just recently started to learn Java and well... If anything I'd think it should work on Windows 7 (unless they blocked it so people use VB instead.. doubts.)

Windows 7 is based on Windows NT (same as XP and Vista?).

If it works on Vista and XP, I wouldn't doubt if it works on 7 as well.

I've tried some of my java codes on Windows 7 and they work perfectly. Swing based UI codes take on the Windows 7 look and feel. I've installed JRE 6 update 11

it's platform independent. We have problems with different versions of the java applet.

We have Java errors using XP. Our software vendor tells us the application won't work with certain versions of Java. So the issue may not be Windows 7.
