I am intending to buy an ISP monitor for photo editing in a price around $300. Please, take a few minutes an write your opinion, advice, I read many threads, but most of them are out of date (not considering new monitors) and focused just on one “solution”... will explain.
I know that for serious business work you need much more expensive LCD, but I am convinced, that for home use, and with hardware calibration, it will give satisfying results, requiring just a soft tune in the studio.
Here are today’s options:
Dell 2209WA - 22" 1680x1050
Dell U2311H - 23" 1920x1080
NEC EA231WMI - 23" 1920x1080
Viewsonic VP2365WB - 23" 1920x1080
HP ZR22W - 22" 1920x1080
My three main requirements (besides suiting photo editing) are matted screen (recommended for photo editing, anti glare?) dual voltage (AC 100 to 240 VAC) and a possibility to buy in a store (or online without tax like from newegg).
Many people are recommending it, but most of the threads do not reflect new monitors on the market. I found it kind of a clich
