If the program is already installed on your computer, and what you are downloading is an update, then your first step is to contact the software makers themselves. The update may be corrupt or may be causing problems.
Perhaps the software maker's web site has a Support section, or even a forum?
I have been trying to download smart defrag. It downloads fine but when I go to run it I receive a message to I want to abort/retry/cancel. I cannot get past this point. I had the program on line but this is an update. Any suggestions? Thank you for taking the time to help with this problem.
