Question

Internet service on cell phone

Hi, Is there a way of connecting my cell phone internet (I have Virgin cell phone Samsung Galaxy II) to allow me to browse my computer..using my cell phone hook up. I have Xplornet currently for my computer but the service i very poor where I live. Or can I attach something to my TV which is also Samsung...that I recently purchased. TY.

I'll share what I use however.

While I do use EasyTether I can't offer support for it. Also, your mention the TV but the speed of the cellular network is too low to watch films so that's not a great option.

Thank you Bob..over the years you have helped me immensely...Can you walk me through this or recommend where I would start. Thanks. My internet is so bad at times I am out of service for days...so I depend on my phone to get emails and at times to do searches...e.g. the last 3 days I had no hydro and my only contact was my cell phone and my car to recharge my battery. Thanks again.

The Android market or google's new Play store.

It's what I use from time to time where there is no other choice but as noted, it's not speedy enough for a film. I felt it's a great thing to have in a pinch.
