Individuals Rights

by Original_Zen / July 18, 2006 10:28 PM PDT

I feel that individuals - those that actually use & visit the sites on the web should be able to pick and choose which sites they want to. Not be decided by an ISP, the government or anyone other than the individuals themselves.

I do agree that children should be restricted in the sites that they visit. I also believe that it is the Parents responsibility to monitor their children & block access to sites they feel is inappropriate.

But I do not feel that anyone has the "right" to dictate what sites Adults visit or don't visit. If I'm paying for internet access, then I alone, will decide which site I will or will not visit.

This is only good common sense. Which I know the government sorely lacks.
