General discussion

While I sometimes disagreed with what you, at CNET, wrote, I always respected that you were doing your best. After reading teh DISH/CBS story I am profoundly troubled. How much of your other writings were unduly influenced? The touble is, once caught in a lie, how can you be trusted anymore? To me the entire staff should resign until ANY oversight on either editorial or review is removed permanently.

Much praise to Greg Sandoval for his integrity, and some priase for Lindsey Turrentine (for belatedly admitting what happened). I may be a bit naieve, but I trusted CNET for truly independent news, evaluation, and recommendation. If the entire staff resigns until there is an IMPENETRABLE WALL between CNET and CBS I would consider CNET reinstated in my esteem. Anything less will leave me always wondering.
