importing tagged text from word to indesign

by twocoins / January 9, 2009 11:43 AM PST

Have been importing word text files into indesign and applying (self created) style sheets for years, but am now getting a large book layout job that is coming in with style sheets applied in word. YIKES - funny but not clear to me how this works.

I have been trying to figure out from the "help" feature and looking for a tutorial - but not really finding anything.

How come this is so hard!? Would much appreciate any leads or help!

THANKS in advance - Jane
