iBUYPOWER Gamer Extreme PC for $979 a Good Deal?

Im somewhat of a computer newbie and currently in the market for a Gaming Desktop PC for $1000 or less.
I came across this PC from and was wondering if this is a good deal?

iBUYPOWER Gamer Extreme NE741i Desktop PC Intel Core i7 3770(3.40GHz) 16GB DDR3 500GB HDD+120GB SSD HDD Capacity NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2GB Windows 8

I would love to have you guys input on this rig and am open to any recommendations you'll may have.
