"The roadmaster website claims that files over 16mb will skip the end of the files, but I had files less than that skipping the end. They were VBR, I reencoded one of them as 128kbps constant rate and it now plays to the end.
I also had one file that ALWAYS gave error 13, regardless of if it was on sd card, jump drive, etc. I finally figure out that the ID3 tags in this file were double-byte, not ascii. I removed the id3 tags from that file and it no longer gives there errror.
So, just strip all the id3 tags from your files and reencode them all as constant bit rate and maybe you'll be ok. pfff."
Sorry but I decline how to do that but you can google it if you don't know.
I have a car stereo brand VRCD400-SDU AM/FM receiver, CD/MP3/WMA player with USB Port, Aux In, & Detachable Face, and when I insert the USB flash drive or the memory card to play something it gives the error code 13. Can someone help me to fix this problem?
