I'm looking for a program that will show hardware details.

by doc_holliday420 / November 1, 2009 3:52 AM PST

I can't get the required info in device manager, the developers web page doesn't have good enough detail, and my manual can't help me either. As the title states, I am looking for a program that will show my hardware and its details, (make, model, clock speed, etc.) the more details the better. I have looked on download.com under the searches "system info," "System information," "hardware info" and havent found anything that was good enough. My system has: Windows Vista 32-bit, Nvidia Geforce 8800GT,4GB DDR2 Dual-Channel RAM, AMD Phenom 9600 (quad-core), 1TB Barracuda.

The Belarc Advisor report will tell all
by GeneTheMachine / November 16, 2009 3:47 PM PST

Download "Belarc Advisor" (sic) and run it. It is freeware. The Belarc Advisor will list details of your devices and their version numbers, including who made the graphics chip on your motherboard, users, software patches, etc.
