The one that costs $39.99. Can it be burned on a CD or DVD-R? I am planning to get a HP Business touch screen. I was planning on a clean install after I remove WIN7 HE, with www.killdisk.com. I have two HDD, one is 500GB and the other is 80GB and empty where I could install WIN8 in it. Of course, I plan to purchase it and have drivers from HP for WIN8, 32 and 64 bit. Darrell
Planning to first download WIN8, then burn it on a DVD, use killdisk to free up C: I have two hard drives and have deleted D:\HP_Recovery in that, turned my 80 GB into a D: where I could store WIN8 in tat as a backup for the DVD-R. Install WIN8 into C: as a clean install. I will be buying a touchscreen from HP; it has both hookups for under it for connecting to computer. As of this writing, I have 2 hard drives, a card reader & 2 CD/DVD-RW's, one internal and one external. Also have WIN8 updates in a flash drive. Darrell
What changed that I need to do this today? I can delete partitions during the Windows 8 setup so that step is optional. But with folk all over the map, why ask them this question at all? i.e. go for it. Bob
