HP Pavilion dv6 no power

Cannot start notebook - no power. Only response is 3 LED blinks beside AC adaptor plug. Have removed battery, disconnected AC and pressed power button but nothing.

Clarification Request
hp pavilion dv6 not powering on

i used my laptop hp pavilion dv6 with windows7 64bit operating system yesterday but today the system refused to on. the power on light refused to come up, i have tried to use only power adapter yet to no avail. pls help me what do i do?

If yes, use it or start the process and document your dealings. Also, if possible try to upgrade to a better or replacement laptop if the problem is not resolved the 1st time. Move away from this laptop if you can(really!!!).
