How to Uninstall uTorrent Toolbar?

by Johnd123456789 / August 27, 2011 9:21 AM PDT

This toolbar is a Virus. Doesn't want to be removed. Tried Control Panel, Virus removal software, but still don't go away. Really makes one not want to use any of their software, nor recommend it either.

I use Vista and tried control panel as well as uninstalling uTorrent, but the toolbar was still there.

I went to Start - Computer and then searched for the name "uTorrent." I also searched in hidden files and folders. I found the uTorrent toolbar buried in a Google Chrome system folder. I deleted all files named uTorrent, emptied the Recycle Bin, and now it's finally gone.

I hope this helps you.

I liked uTorrent software, but I really don't like having annoying toolbars forced on me.
