How to send the message between XP & 7 in LAN?

According to this article msg command & net send command, net send command is available in Windows XP and before and msg command is available in Windows Vista and above, but they are not compatible between each other.

LanTalk NET is noted but another spammer so why not use any of the popular messaging systems?

Install IP Messenger

Install the latest version of IPMSG & you won't face the problem of compatibility issue.
