How to make a good podcast

by GBVishJourno / February 14, 2013 6:49 PM PST

Hi guys.

I am a professional journalist, and was wondering if you had any tips on what the right elements to make a good podcast were.

I'm looking primarily at making soccer podcasts, but suggestions for podcasts in general are most welcome.

I've used the Yeti and its definitely a good mic to use for podcasts. The sound quality is important. As a listener you want it to be pleasing to the ears, so using a good mic is a must.

Also make sure its interesting and entertaining. Is it something you would want to listen to? Make sure you're prepared with what you want your podcast on, make notes and put together a rough script of what you want to air. Goodluck
