That's the safe mode driver and if one did get rid of it then when there is a device or driver problem you would not have ANY display at all.
The restart fix it symptom would have me inspecting the card and entire machine for "BAD CAPS". Google that if you are unaware of the plague/issue.
So for the past few days my driver has been acting up, my computer starts up in 800 x 600 resolution . I've tried resetting my BIOS, Downloading new Nvida driver and installing it and even rolling it back and now it's stuck on VGAsave.
Restarting it used to work, but now no matter how times I try reset it, it still won't work. I tried going to display drivers uninstalling then going 'scan for hardware changes' and then I reset it and nothing happens. I also did try downloading driver and window 7 updates but they don't down, they just stay at 0% which is very strange considering my download speed is 110 kb/s and last of all I tried system restore but that failed as well.
