i need help with getting the mobile network working
by tylergreen16 / July 3, 2013 5:57 AM PDT

Hey there I just bought a basically new lg optimus g, which came unlocked. I am on the virgin network (which is also bell). I put my virgin Sim card in and all I can do is call out and text no internet or data networking. WiFi works fine obviously but in don't know how to manually set up the network. I watched a video on one but when I go into access point names... There aren't any where in the video I watched, they were already there (telus' and rogers were both in the list in the video). Can someone please help me? Thanks a lot for your time.

Answer
Usually you need a data plan

Or if your phone has it, WIFI and connect to some hot spot.

You probably have to manually configure the data settings in the phone.
