how to fix dell studio xps 16 PP35l screen not showing

hi i just got this pc dell studio XPS 16 inch Model Number PP35l from a friend who ask if i can help him fix it.

Looks grim.

In the service center we'd remove all drives, check the CMOS battery and try again. If that failed we might replace the main board.

hey thanks for replying to my issue, I did what you suggested to the drivers and the CMOS battery and the problem still occurs.

I found the bending or flexing the screen back-and-forth several times made a similar issue with my Inspron 1564 not appear again.

Now did you try replacing the cables from the motherboard to the display?

hey again am not sure but if that's is the case, when plugin in a desktop monitor to the laptop should display the content of the laptop but its not I've tired it. not a blimp of the screen one things for sure its not saying "source not found" like it would if not connected. so i don't think its the connection to the screen.

dxjanis noted that bending and flexing made the screen do something. That's a sign of connection problems. Your post may be some other laptop and member but I can't tell.
