Question

How long should it take for my late 2012 mac mini to sleep?

I was wondering how long it should take for my late 2012 mac mini to go into sleep mode and to come out of sleep mode.What do you think is normal?

Mine takes about 3 seconds to go into sleep mode and about the same to come out of sleep mode.

Should vary a lot.

It all depends on what the user has running at the time and then how those apps respond to the sleep command.

3 seconds sounds great!

yea, it seems to have no issues going to sleep or waking up, or opening apps afterwards.

My iMac takes anything up to a minute, that is

I don't think it SHOULD take that long.

probly nothing more than a few seconds.
