There are many ways to tackle this one. http://www.magnavox.com/product/feature.php?id=114 shows it has some smarts so do these have a web browser? Or that Picassa app?
And about the DVD player. That works too. However some don't like the 480p standard definition output.
Talk to your friends and here's what I'd try. Some Android on a HDMI stick as a player or for 40 bucks, I'd try this one.
That's about what the DVD player may run.
I have purchased 3 Magnavox 32" LED TV's (32MV402X) and would like to use them to display Menus and Specials in my sandwhich shop. Initially I thought i could load the Menus and specials onto USB sticks, and plug them in and just run a slideshow with them on it that would loop throuhout the day, however there is a "JPEG" icon or watermark that displays on the screen the whole time i use the usb drive. I do change the specials often so i was curious as to what the easiest way to do this was...
I was also thinking if we cannot somehow remove the Jpeg watermark what would be the easiest alternative?
Run DVD players to each tv and create looping slideshows to run? Hook up a computer to run all 3 monitors? I use a laptop for most of my work that i take home as well so i was trying to find something that i could create on my laptop and plug into the tv to update things. But if this isn't possible what are my other options?
