Disable the DNS CLIENT, the DHCP CLIENT, set the IP addresses manually and in the HOSTS file tell where this server is. Set the DNS entry as 127.0.0.1 so DNS lookups fail.
Set the home page of the web site as the 'the ONE.'
Any 2 month IT staffer can do this.
I have 2 kiosk pc's that need to be secured. They are for employees in our company's production plant to check their HR/payroll/benefits information. I'm needing to restrict access to ALL websites except for the PeopleSoft website that our HR dept. is using. The site is secured (https://), so it can only be accessed if you're authenticated to the company network but I'm not quite sure how to lock everything else down. Any suggestions? Both PC's are running XP Pro w/IE6.
