Hoax

Before using the tennis ball, think I'd shoot a little graphite in there. Also heard you can call with your cell to someone who has the lock/unlock part of your entry system, they hold it up to cell phone while you direct your cell phone at door lock, he presses unlock, door unlocks. I know it works at 50 ft, not sure of other distances.

marinetbryant, The cell phone. That one works.
Amazing but true. Heard about that trick about two years ago.
the only problem I have is the fact I do not have a cell phone.
The new Mac iphone looks better all the time.

Bob,
Here is an interesting concept for everyone. Record the waves from your keyless entry and store on the Mac iphone. Play it back to your auto when locked out.
I wonder if that can be done??
Sounds possible. Anyone want to try it?

in purse. Wife says absolutely no room, but could squeeze a spare key in her purse. She is not blonde, asked how I would carry it. Reply, "In my tool box"...............
behind the cab.

.... as a fun conversation-starter.

It's also a good example of the mis-information on the 'net, and a sample of what we often get in our personal inboxes.

Cyborganizer, Fun to read.

I guess no one likes my idea with the iphone??
OK. How about a Blackberry? Works better for everyone?
Should work the same as a cell phone.

By the way, Bob Proffitt started this post to get every one alerted and to have fun.
I did.
