Need help with Sony Wega KPF-E60A20....The screen keeps going blank and no volume?

The KDF-E60A20 is another one of those RPTVs that you see failing out there. If the unit works for say half an hour then goes out I suggest you do your yearly cleaning of the vents and fans. If it's just dead, you'll find repair costs exceed what a new set can be.

cleaned all vents & such.just keeps going off & on. could it poss. be the Lamp?
