help with downloading photos from JVC Camcorder

by ptfitzy / October 29, 2005 4:36 AM PDT

Help. I have a JVC Digital Video Camcorder ModelGR-DVL820U with a memory card. I am unable to get the phots after connecting it to my USB Port. I was able to when I had Windows 98. However with "Windows XP Home", I cannot get them to come up on the camcorder.
I tried downloading updates from the JVC site, Updates to my original (JVC Digital Photo Navigator Disc) but still no luck.
Any other easier ways to get my photos from my camcorder or the memory stick downloaded to the computer? I need something very easy. Thanks. Phil

I have a JVC GR-D93U mini DV. Mine only transfers to my Dell with a firewire. It's a trip back to the store, just like I had to do, but it's easy. Good luck
