Help! Server error in/application runtime error message

by plymouth vacation / March 6, 2007 9:16 PM PST

I typed in a daily website that I go to to log on with others for a diet program. Instead of the website appearing, i got a long page stating the following: runtime error. an application error occured on the server.the current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely. It could be Viewed by browsers running on the local server machines.
This morning I tried to view on my desktop with xp. Last night i viewed the website on my laptop with vista. not sure if that helps.
It gives the following details; to enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a (custom errors)tag within a web config file located in the root directory of the current web application. this custom error tags should have it's mode attribute set to off. There was more to the page but it is all gibberish to me.What does this all mean?

It sounds like the web site is down.

Do you have an email address you can contact them through?

They may not be aware it is down, especially if the web site is one that is static and not updated that frequently.
