Help removing pop up box on LED TV

by MadelineB / September 19, 2013 5:38 AM PDT

I have a Samsung UN50EH500FXZA TV. I don't know how to remove a box that pops up when I change between a regular TV station and an HD station. It looks like an information box that tells what is connected to my TV. The box lists .......HDM2, DVD and says "No Time Information" and resolution.

Annoying info box

Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

Samsung seems to document that one. See link.

Thank you for the link. That tells me to set the time so that it will be displayed in the information box. We have already set the time manually. What I want to know is how to get rid of the information box. I don't want it popping up when ever I change between HD and regular tv stations.

Sorry if I can't fix that.

But a thumbs down for at least trying to find that on-screen box seems a bit on the un-helpful side.

Let's hope someone will find more for you.
